The Analysis of Illocutionary Types of Speech Acts in Yakin Nikah Web Series Season 1: Indonesian YouTube Short Film

In order to maintain a great means of communication between people, language use plays significant role in the interaction process. Within process among speaker and hearer comes with an act or action along that is called speech acts, which refers when person saying something, it hoped as what intends him her do. Speech acts are always found our daily basis, even films, advertisements, social media such Instagram, Facebook, YouTube. With existence YouTube, many short length films have especially one YouTube series entitled “Yakin Nikah”. By investigating Nikah” characters’ this research aims explore types exist analyse how those then classified into Illocutionary act. This uses descriptive qualitative method, by using several techniques visual analysis textual through watching film, writing down transcriptions characters, identifying written illocutionary classifications.
